Reverend Laura Jones is a United Methodist Pastor in the South Indiana Conference. In the summer of 2005, she formed Africa Here & Now and answered a call to visit Africa. It was there in Meru, Kenya, that she met Chidi and Mercy Ogbonna of Ripples International and knew she had found her place of future service. An instant bond was formed as like passions for children, families and the impoverished were shared. Africa Here & Now is now the Indiana Chapter of Ripples International. Pastor Laura is working in the United States as well as abroad to realize the flowing mission and vision. Mission Statement To follow the examples of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in standing with the oppressed in order to establish a united family structure and alleviate poverty and suffering around the world. |
