2009 GOALS FOR

 AHN: RIPPLES INTERNATIONAL

 

LAUNCH PENNIES FROM HEAVEN: a project for churches, small groups, families, and individuals to collect pennies and coins to help AHN: Ripples Intl.

 

PASTOR LAURA’S RETURN TO AFRICA: April 14 – May 13.  Prayer support and financial support for trip.

 

DEDICATION OF CHAPEL/LIBRARY/COUNSELING CENTER: The end of April or beginning of May, in Meru, Kenya.  Pastor Laura will be there for the dedication of the library in her mom’s memory.

 

FURNISHINGS OF CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, LIBRARY, CHAPEL: AHN is working stateside to furnish the 105 bed hospital, chapel and library.  This will ship in three phases.  Raising of funds to ship and equipment and furnishing donations.

 

DEDICATION OF CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: Meru, Kenya on June 16, 2009.  Opening of walk in clinic in June, with ER and hospital opening when furnished.

 

FUNDRAISING FOR SHIPPING OF 2-3 CONTAINERS TO KENYA: Securing funds for shipping.  Approximately $15,000 is needed.  $2500 already secured.

 

PARTNERSHIP WITH CHRIST UMC – WESTFIELD: Adopted as a mission with Christ UMC – Pastor Laura’s secondary appt. church.  Checks will now be made out to Christ UMC with AHN in memo and designate funds to what you want them to go to.  (Pastor Laura Support, Buy a Goat, Building Fund, New Start Center, Girl’s Rescue, Boys Rescue, etc.)

 

CHAPLAIN POSITION FOR RIPPLES INTERNATIONAL, MERU, KENYA: AHN raising $300 per month for Chaplain’s salary in Meru, Kenya.

 

DEVELOPMENT OF TEAM TO GO TO KENYA:  Orientation and gathering of individual wanting to go to Ripples in 2009 to do missions work.
