Africa Here & Now

Our Vision

Pastor Laura has many dreams in her vision for Africa Here & Now that God has placed on her heart.  Each year provides opportunities to take a team with her to Kenya, to begin to let others learn about Ripples International, and to experience the passion that God puts in your heart as you serve God’s people a world away.

Africa Here & Now strives every year to accomplish the following:

Write grants to be able to move bigger mountains at home and abroad. 

Raise funds to support Pastor Laura as a missionary to be able to reach the children, adults, and families that deal with the HIV/AIDs crisis.

Answer God’s call around the world and specifically in Meru, Kenya.  Seventeen acres are now owned by Ripples International and building is already underway for the children’s hospital and the chapel on the Ripples Compound.  All of Ripples will be housed in the future on one piece of land, one compound.

Open hearts and doors around the country to help others help themselves.  The vision is not to always “give” to the impoverished, but the vision is to “empower every person through education, faith, resources, and support to change their own lives and the lives of their family.”
